Welcome to another edition of MUGicWB. It is more beautiful, more
skilful, more colourful, in short: better. #define HYPE OFF
Why another edition?
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
New programs were released or discovered by me lacking the distinct
MagicWB style. There seems never an end to the need for adequate
images.
The release of MagicWB 2.0 required changes to this release but now
you have a completely 2.0 compatible MUGicWB, utilizing the new
templates and even featuring new image-drawers.
I am still no artist so you get pretty abstract icons and/or
rearranged (magicalized :) originals. At least they use the standard
templates and palette and are therefore (mostly ;) of better quality
than their four-colour equivalents.
What do I get?
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
BlitzBlank/
This is a real nice modular blanker I currently use. "Blitz"
is German for "lightning" so the idea for the image should be
clear.
BlitzBlank
BlitzBlankPrefs © Thomas Börkel.
Drawers/
This directory contains MWB2.0 compatible imagedrawers.
MagicCX © Kai Iske
The SASG-logo was just too boring.
MainActor © Markus Mönig
In the line of my program-icon for it.
MirrorManager © Harald Kunze & Tobias Ferber
Great for organizing your Aminet
downloads. Follows the idea of my icon
for the executable.
MovieDatabase © André Bernhardt
"Compatible" with my program-icon.
MUI © Stefan Stuntz
SASG drawers are too boring, a wand is
much more appropriate.
Envoy/
The first release of MUGicWB already contained icons for the
four most important programs. Due to request (and personal
need :) I updated them to the template used by Christian
'Kochtopf' Scholz (and touched them up a bit) so that you can
simply replace these four. There is one small difference: the
four "networked" spheres at the top get highlighted which is
IMHO more appealing.
EnvoyTemplate Updated and definitely more magic!

Misc/
ADocGuide If you convert your AutoDocs to
AmigaGuide format and want to access
them via workbench a smaller version
of the respective icon comes in very
handy. Save space!
MCalc © Kai Iske
Quick hack to get standard size.
MRIconSort © Mark R. Rinfret
This very useful utility (sorts icons
alphabetically and places them on the
same baseline) found on AmigaLibDisk
873 definitely needed a magic icon.
NoteIt! © Ryan J. Bruner
The original was very good but too
large so I created a version of
standard size.
PicMerge © Frank Düber
Came with an icon too small and too
ugly. Revamped original idea.
PictIcon © Chad Randall
Original icon was very nice but too
large so I redrew it from scratch.
ReqChange © Magnus Holmgren
Just a quick hack to use MagicWBs
Prefs-Template.
Toolmanager/
These are icons for Stefan Beckers great Toolmanager. They all
use MagicWBs standard template for DockIcons.
AmiTCP © The AmiTCP/IP Group
For bin/startnet or anything network-
like (Envoy, etc.).
Grapvine © Brian J. Cerveny
For the greatest IRC-client of them
all. Idea from the supplied icon.
OptIcon © Tobias Ferber
Very nice program for converting
(Magic-) icons from eight to three
planes or vice versa. Even more useful
when you can drop the offender on your
dock and have it look right.
WBStartUp/
CpuUsage.script © SSD
Came with no icon at all. I made a
script to start it automatically with
the right position and size to
complement my ToolManagerDocks.
CyberCron © Christopher A. Wichura
Standardized size. Not very magic.
MousOMeter © Wolfgang Breyha
Thomas 'thb' Bätzlers icon was nice
but used the old template so I grabbed
his idea and started from scratch.
MUI-Exchange © Klaus 'kMel' Melchior
Just the standard Exchange image
combined with the MUI-Template.
NewEdit © Uwe Röhm
Original idea with a real "string
gadget" feeling.
OpaqueMove © Steve Koren
_Very_ nice program with a very non-
magic icon. Original idea with some
tweaking.
TinyClock © Martin W. Scott
Given the right size and colouring you
can easily make it appear as a part of
your ToolManager-Dock. This is just an
adaptation to the template.
What can I do with it?
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
Do with it what you want except earning money. Authors of the
respective programs may feel free to include my icons. If you like it
do one of the following:
1. Register Iconian, the best icon editor ever! All icons of
this collection where created with it.
...
365. Send me mail! I would particulary like to have an icon for
my poor 'Basement' partition.
366. Give MUGiff a try. It is available on Aminet.
How to contact the glorious artist?

Can I get off without reading any acknowledgements?
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
No. 8-)
I am eternally grateful to:
- Chad Randall for his outstanding icon editor Iconian which was
used to create all icons in this package.
- the makers and admins of Aminet. What would I do without it?
- Fred Fish for his superb CD-ROMs and his previous work for the
Amiga.
- all authors of the programs I made an icon for.
Enjoy, ,'
